Rather than using the Zoom controls in your Office application to zoom in and out of your document, a quicker way is to use your mouse and keyboard, if your mouse has a scroll wheel.
Hold down the Ctrl key on your keyboard and roll the scroll wheel on your mouse away from you to zoom in on a document and towards you to zoom out.
