Continuously clicking in the Address Bar of your Web browser, selecting the existing URL and typing in the new Web address, can be time-consuming and annoying. There is an easier way. Hold down the Command key on your keyboard and press the L key. Your mouse cursor will jump to the Address Bar and select the existing text, so all you have to do is type in a new Web address. This tip will work with Firefox as well (if you are using Windows, use the Ctrl + L keystroke combination).
