I have found that occasionally when syncing my iCal, duplicate birthday entries appear for no apparent reason. This does not seem to happen when synching BusySync to my Google calendar but rather when syncing to my MobilMe account. Not sure what the cause of it is but there is a quick way to get rid of the dups.
- Open iCal
- Select iCal > Preferences from the menu.
- Click the General tab
- Uncheck the “Show Birthdays Calendar” checkbox.
- Close the Preferences window.
- Reopen the Preferences pane and check the “Show Birthdays Calendar” checkbox to redisplay the birthday entries.
The duplicate entries should be gone.
