If you use are a Twitter user, you might want to check out TweetDeck, a desktop application that allows you to post Tweets to your account and manage your Twitter feed. It is available for OX X, Windows and Linux.
One of my favorite features is the Group feature, which allows you to create separate columns that include only the people you specified. You can easily add people to or remove people from your groups.
Other features include a Replies column, the ability the filter by tweet text, username, source or timeframe, continuous updates, and more.
