Landscape and Portrait page orientation

Microsoft Word allows you to change the Page Orientation; that is to say, the orientation of text – either wide or long – on the page. There are two choices of orientation – Portrait which prints across the shortest width (taller than longer) of the paper and Landscape which prints across the longest width (longer than taller) of the paper.

To Set Page Orientation

  1. Click the Page Layout tab on the Ribbon.
  2. Click the Orientation button and select either Portrait or Landscape.
  3. Click OK when finished
    Or
Click Portrait or Landscape from the Margins tab of the Page Setup dialog box.
