Defining the Print Area in Excel

Left to its own devices, Excel will print all the data that is in the currently active worksheet. You can however, force Excel to use a defined print area for the worksheet. Start by selecting the cell range that you want to print. Then, click the Print Area button under the Page Set up group on the Page Layout Ribbon and choose Set Print Area from the list.
