Date Picker Control in Word

Date Picker Control in Word

We continue our discussion of forms in Word with looking at how to add a Date Picker Control to a form. The Date Picker Control allows the user to select a date from a pop-up calendar. When the user click in the date field a drop-down arrow appears, from which the user can choose the date they want from the mini-calendar. The month is displayed by default. To navigate to a different month, click the Previous Month arrow or the Next Month arrow.

If you are working in Compatibility Mode (pre Word 2007), you can insert a text field from the Legacy tools and set the form field type to Date from the Text Form Field Options dialog box.
