How to Prevent Word from Inserting Page Breaks within a Paragraph

As type in Microsoft Word, you may notice that Word inserts an automatic page break within a paragraph as you near the bottom of the page. This may be fine in certain instances but sometimes, you might want to keep all of the text of a paragraph together on the same page, especially if the text is surrounded a border. To ensure that all of the sentences of your paragraph remain together, use the Keep Lines Together feature.
To Prevent Word from Inserting Automatic Page Breaks
- Click the Home tab on the Ribbon.
- Click the Paragraph Dialog Launcher.
- Click the Line and Page Breaks tab on top of the window.
- Click the checkbox next to Keep Lines Together.
- Click OK.
