Quickly Copy & Paste Excel Formulas using your Keyboard

If you copy and paste a lot of formulas, you might be happy to learn that you don’t have to copy and paste them into destination cells using your mouse. You can do so using your keyboard.

First, select the cell containing the formula you want to copy. Then, hold down the Shift key and tap the down arrow to select the cells you want to populate (or Shift + Right Arrow to select cells to the right).

Once you’ve selected the cells, press Ctrl + D to fill in the selected cells with the formula in the first cell range, all without leaving your keyboard. If you’re copying to the right, use the Ctrl + R keyboard combination.
