How to change the gridlines color in Excel

What many people don't realize, is that we are not stuck with the light gray color of the gridlines in Excel and in fact, we can change them to any color we like. So you if gridlines color in your worksheet is not to your liking, change it to a color more suitable to your tastes.

To Change the Worksheet Gridlines Color

  1. Click the File tab on the Ribbon.
  2. Click Options
  3. Click Advanced in the left pane.
  4. Scroll down until you see Display options for this worksheet.

  5. Click the Gridlines Color drop-down arrow and choose the color you want from the gallery.

  6. Click OK

Tip: You can also hide gridlines from this area by unchecking the Show Gridlines box.
